Invitation for Public Comment - Proposed Amendment to Uniform Local Bankruptcy Rules

The United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi propose to adopt an amendment to the Uniform Local Bankruptcy Rules to become effective December 1, 2026.

The Invitation for Public Comment and the proposed amendment to Local Rule 9019-1(j)(3) may be found on the Rules and Fees page of the Court’s website along with the full text of the current Local Rules. The public comment period ends September 30, 2026.
