Proposed Amendments to Federal Rules (Bankruptcy, Appellate, Civil and Evidence)

The Judicial Conference Advisory Committees on Appellate, Bankruptcy, Civil, and Evidence Rules proposed amendments to their respective rules below:

  • Appellate Rules 35, 40;
  • Bankruptcy Rules 2002, 2004, 8012;
  • Civil Rule 30; and
  • Evidence Rule 404.

If approved, the proposed amendments would become effective December 1, 2019.  The public comment period ends February 15, 2019.  Click here for more information.
