Notice of Procedural Change – Deadline for Submission of Pretrial Orders

Monday, June 26, 2017

You are hereby notified that the deadline to submit proposed pretrial orders in adversary proceedings assigned to Judge Woodard will change effective immediately.

The current procedure requires the proposed pretrial order to be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the pretrial conference.  Issues often arise when the proposed order is not timely submitted due to the short time frame between the deadline for the proposed order and the date of the pretrial conference.

Effective immediately, the proposed pretrial order will be due no later than 10 days prior to the pretrial conference.  Monetary penalties will be imposed for noncompliance.  This change is being made at the request of the bar in order to make the pretrial conference process more effective.

The Instructions for Pretrial Conference and the Pretrial Order Form for adversary proceedings assigned to Judge Woodard may be found on the court’s website at www.msnb.uscourts.gov on the Bankruptcy Forms page and the Judges page.

Should you have any questions regarding the procedural change described above, please contact the Clerk’s office at (662) 369-2596.
