The bankruptcy judges of the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi have adopted amendments to the Uniform Local Bankruptcy Rules effective December 1, 2023.  The amendments and the full text of the rules may be viewed and/or downloaded on the Rules and Fees page.

New Local Rule 7007.1-1: Requires general partnerships, limited partnerships, joint ventures, and limited liability companies to file a Corporate Ownership Statement consistent with the requirement for nongovernmental corporate parties to an adversary proceeding.

Amendment to Local Rule 9014-1(c)(2):  Provides that the requirement for filing a Corporate Ownership Statement under Fed. R. Bank P. 7007.1 and Local Rule 7007.1-1 shall also apply to contested matters.
